Ceri’s director role
20th December 2007

The New Year has got off to a great start for St Asaph-born Ceri Ratcliffe.

The former pupil at Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan school in Abergele returned from the Christmas break as a full-fledged director at local accountancy and business support specialist, Sage & Co.

Sage & Co recently moved from offices in Rhyl and Colwyn Bay to new, bigger premises at St Asaph Business Park. Ceri has become the fourth director alongside Matthew Gilmartin, Clare Porter and David Thomas.

CERI-RATCLIFFE Ceri lives in Rhyl. She grew up in Abergele where she attended the school where her father, David Ratcliffe, was the deputy head teacher. Although now semi-retired, David still teaches at the school.

She joined an accountancy practice in Llandudno as a trainee accountant, moving to another practice in St Asaph before gaining several qualifications and working in the accounts team for a newspaper group in Chester before moving to Sage & Co in 2003.

“I’m thrilled to be invited to become a director,” said Ceri. “There’s a tremendous team spirit here at Sage & Co and it’s great to be part of the business at this time of rapid growth.”
